Mission Statement: Our mission at The Blue Heron is to provide an eclectic mix of soft line apparel, accessories, gifts and antiques in a green conscious business in a Main Street business.

We strive to bring a selection of apparel not easily found in a rural area. We want help offset fuel prices, offer an option to local shopping and bring shoppers downtown.

We will be a CO2 offset company with part of the customer purchase for tree reforestation, help with energy research and contribute to the World Wildlife Federation. We will also contribute to conservation and animals. We will be a part of the American Heroes Foundation. When customers shop at The Blue Heron, they will automatically be giving back to the earth and people. We will offer a bioplastic shopping bags made of corn or promote customer use of their own green bag.

We will strive to purchase organic lines, reconstructed and sustainable lines, and focus on mills that use American work force labor. Giving back is the purpose of The Blue Heron…earth sensitive.

ANTIQUE CHARM FURNITURE POLISH contains concentrated citrus oils, known for their ability to penetrate and enhance wood, along with an exquisite beeswax base to build the patina and fill the microscopic pores, thereby enhancing and protecting the beauty of the wood.

We hand blend into our Early American Formula, a well-known preserving oil, which is so costly, the oil is being replaced by synthetics today. Our superior oil was a favorite of old world furniture craftsmen of the early 1800’s.
